Asa’s N700m Homosexualty Lawsuit Adjourned For A Third Time

he current court face-off between Nigerian R&B Soul sensation Bukola ‘Asa’ Elemide and News of the People Magazine has been adjourned to Tuesday, June 26, 2012.

Asa filed a N7oom lawsuit against the magazine on November  of 2010 following a published story which hinted that the world acclaimed singer is a homosexual.

According to reports, the hearing had to be adjourned on Thursday, May 3, 2012 by the presiding judge, Justice A.J Coker since neither of the parties involved in the case showed up at the Lagos High Court.

The case has been adjourned to Tuesday, June 26, 2012, consequently making it the third time in a row, that the case would be adjourned.

News of The People Magazine’s arguments have been based on the premise insists  it culled the story from an internet source, hence it is not liable for it.
