Ice Prince and Wizkid Nominated For 2012 BET Awards

‘Oleku’ crooner Panshak ‘Iceprince’ Zamani and sensational Afro-pop star Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun have both bagged nominations in the 2012 BET awards.

 Both acts are being nominated for ’Best International Act: Africa’ category alongside Kenya’s Camp Mulla, Ghana’s Sarkodie, South Africa’s Lira and Mali’s Mokobe.

 The list was unveiled yesterday May, 22, 2012 at a BET press conference that held in New York. Big Sean, DJ Khaled, Fiona Melanie and Rocky Diggy were some of the celebrity that graced the unveiling.

 Heavywights D’banj and 2face brought the award back to Nigeria last year after emerging joint winners of the category.

 The awards ceremony will hold July 1,2o12 at Shrine Auditorium ,Los Angeles and will be hosted by veteran Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson. There will also be performances by Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj .
