'D’banj did more negative than positive for my career'-Dr Sid

Just when everyone thought the dust has finally settled on the Mo'Hits saga, fresh facts emerging from the camp of Don Jazzy's Mavin Records might herald a new twist to the drama.

According to a report on Nigerian Entertainmet today, Dr. Sid allegedly fingered D'banj's personae as the main cause of the disintegration of Mo'Hits Records. This he revealed during a heated argument with label mate Wande Coal, which was secretly recorded.

'Why don’t they know my name? Because your brand and star is too much it is overshadowing‘, Dr SID was quoted as saying about his former boss.

Wande Coal however had a different opinion with statements to support the fact that it was D'banj's personality that helped bring fame to other members of the now defunct Mo'Hits Records.

‘Guuuy, it’s not that, D’banj can help anybody, ….If not for D’banj nobody would have looked at Wande, guy I dey lie? Men, I don’t know', Wande said.

‘Batman and Robin, who them dey call? Na D’banj na. D’banj did more negative than positive for my career‘, the 'chocolate' crooner argues back, apparently unconvinced.

A response from D'banj would no doubt spark off another round of accusations and counter accusations.

Would he respond? Only time would tell.
